Cant have much of a store if you don't carry games. In the end, The games themselves aren't the problem anyway, it's the extra fees that I'm against. Season Ticket, MW3 Elite, Online Pass, ETC. I did boycott the PSP Go and I will continue to voice my opinion against digitally distributed games and abusive pricing.

But still an update VIA DLC would work, right? I dunno. is the game size limit 2gb including expansions and updates or is that separate?
So they cant shave a tenth of a gig (124mb) off the game to make it fit? Doesn't seem like much of a miracle to me.
They could find a way to do that. or couldn't they release the game then hit it with an instant 124mb expansion (mandatory update) that fills in the gap?
Seems to me that theres a very easy solution to the problem.

I'm Glad they put Daniel Craig in this one. Sure we all know Brosnan as the "goldeneye Bond", but when it comes right down to it, Craig is the best bond since Roger more (IMHO) and seeing him in this game gives me a much better feel. When I see Brosnan, all I can think of are awful movies like "live Wire" and "Dante's peak". LOL

You're right. There is NO R&D in any of the EA sports titles. it's last years game with some tweaks, new players, stats, and some fresh paint.
they could offer the new stuff as a $20 DLC for last years game and it would be JUST as good.
But they don't.
and it sucks for everyone. XBL players, PSN players and PSN+ players. why? because it's just not right for anyone to have to pay that $10.
The retail price (MSRP)of games already went up $10 this year.
on top of that, if it wasn't about used games, then why does it only apply to used games?
I'll do you one better. they're doing it with games that are not only seeing massive profits on and increased profits every year, but the same games that have NO R&D at all.

If there are 100 things wrong with the last EDF game...there are 1000 things that make up for it. The game is just plain fun and one of my favorite titles this gen for it's flat out "awesome factor". LOL

I think a great deal of it also has to do with the 1 year head start combined with the first couple years of a lower price point with the 360. As stated in the article, marketing is a massively important factor too. MS has done it right. Market your console as they have so far and offer the kind of games that the biggest market in the world will buy into.
